Daniel started his Golfing life here at Huyton & Prescot as a young Junior member back in 2005, from
age thirteen he represented the Lancashire County Boys squad and competed in many prestigious
amateur events, before turning Professional at age nineteen to undergo his PGA training back in
2016.
Since turning Professional Dan has become a fully qualified PGA Professional, splitting his time
between playing & coaching golfers of all ages & abilities. He is currently competing on The UK’s
leading development tours, as well as the PGA National & Regional Schedules.
Dan’s biggest achievement to date is Qualifying for the 149th Open at Royal St. Georges in 2021,
overcoming Regional and Final Qualifying - both staged at West Lancashire, to secure his place. He
has also reached Final Qualifying for The Open on a further three occasions.
Closer to home Dan has won a number of local Professional Events, including winning the PGA North
Region Assistant’s Order of Merit in 2019. More recently in 2023, Dan secured victory in the oldest
tournament in Professional Golf – The Leeds Cup, held annually at Leeds Golf Club.
In regards to coaching Dan has grown his reputation locally over the past few years, he enjoys
coaching all aspects of the game and has a particularly keen interest for putting & the short game.
